Five Cats
Between Jessie and Olivia, there are five cats. Jessie has three: “Beetle,” “Shosh,” and Avery. Olivia has two: Little Cat and Fat Cat.
Shoutout to Bookish
Our favorite local bookstore is Bookish in EAV! We also love Charis and Jessie frequently shops at her Barnes & Noble on the Emory Campus.
Book Club Friendship
It should be no surprise that Jessie and Olivia originally met at a book club at an early job: The Elf on the Shelf!
About Jessie
Jessie McCrary is earning a PhD in rhetoric and composition, and her day job is in scholarships & fellowships advising in higher education. She doesn't let any of that prevent her from knitting and sewing garments for her me-made wardrobe. Jessie is a lifelong writer and curious person; one of many projects resulting from this is the podcast she cohosted 2017-2020 with Olivia, "The Origins Of."
About Olivia
Olivia is a web and brand designer which has been her whole world for as long as she can remember. When she’s not designing, she’s digging into the latest romantasy novel or going on a quick run. Olivia met Jessie at The Elf on the Shelf, where they bonded over a book club and their love of reading and talking about books.
